Brian Britt, a regular figure with “JJ Da Boss’s” crew on “Street Outlaws Memphis” was unhurt in a violent crash at the ‘Backyard Battle’ no-prep event at George Ray’s Dragstrip in Paragould, Arkansas over the weekend. Britt was racing his turbocharged, small-tire Toyota pickup known as “Betel Juce” opposite of Lester Miller in the semifinal round of competition, and had just picked up a win when he lost control after the stripe, slid off the racing surface, and barrel rolled end over end several times.
Britt emerged from the wreckage and assured race officials that other than sore shoulders from his safety harness, he was fine. The same, however, could not be said for his truck, which was heavily damaged and likely a write-off. Sean Melton of Urban Hillbilly Videos caught the entire ordeal from the top end of the track, and Chris Hogan of Fo-Dad Racing Media had a 360-degree camera on the roof of Britt’s pickup and captured some incredible footage as it parted ways with the pickup after the first rollover.
