Here’s something you don’t see every day – a 1933 Ford “Pro Street” Dump Truck, built by Jeffers Pro Cars in House Springs, Missouri. Larry Jeffers has a reputation for building some sweet rides and this is no exception.

What started out as a complete piece of junk sitting behind the shop is now turning heads and dropping jaws at any race it shows up to. It took over 500 hours to get the truck to its current state. A blown and injected 509-inch big block Chevrolet provides the power, while a Powerglide transmission and a Jeffers Pro Cars fabricated rear end finishes out the drive train.

The chassis is a full Pro Modified-style chassis with a four-link rear suspension. Unfortunately, the cab of the truck is too small, so they purposely left out the funny car cage. The functional dump bed is filled with a foam, that after many hours, was made to look like dirt. The shovel however, is real!

This video shows the truck running a 4.71 at 151 duri9ng an exhibition pass at the ADRL Summer Drags in Martin, Michigan. Larry mentions that there is still more left in the setup and would expect to see some times in the low 4.50’s.
