Besides the on-track action, one of the greatest aspects of the NHRA is fan interaction. With every ticket being a pit pass, fans can meet their favorite driver, get their autograph, take a photo, or engage in a conversation. This interaction doesn’t end when the race is over. In today’s world of blogs and social media, drivers and teams are only a keyboard stroke away. If you’re a regular reader of the Team Wilkerson blogs on NHRA.com, you’ll notice that team manager Bob Wilber goes above and beyond to keep fans informed of the happenings of the Levi, Ray & Shoup team. In the latest blog installment, Bob announced an opportunity for fans to help choose the design of the 2013 scheme.
The current design on the car had been on there since Tim switched to a Ford Mustang Shelby body in 2009. After running it for four years, the team decided it was time for a change. The team worked with graphic design specialist, Greg Ozubko, and ended up with three designs that really stood out amongst the rest. Now it’s up to the fans to decide which scheme will be on the car.
Options two and three: Dots and Diamonds
