The same goes for header tube diameter. In some instances, you’re limited as to how big a header tube you can run, depending on the car you choose to run. On many cars, the steering column is the deciding factor on which headers will work on your car. We’ve seen many a driver side header with clearance issues, but that’s the fault of the steering column. Many header designs have to snake around the column in order to properly fit a particular application.
