The brand battle rages on with our third installment of LS vs Coyote on Horsepower Wars Season 4. If you recall back to the very first iteration, before even Horsepower Wars, we had a set budget and some specific rules to put an LS3 against a 5.0L Coyote. On the second version, we increased the budget and opened up the rules a bit to use a ProCharger. For the third season, we are ditching the budget but restricting cubic inches and having both engines use a single 76mm turbo.

Fast Forward Racing Engines was commissioned to build the Coyote this year as the current holder of the stock block record (albeit with sleeves) and no stranger to high-powered turbo engines.

For the LS, or in this case LT, once again Late Model Engines will be returning to defend their crown.

Will it be the LT or the Coyote that wins this year? With the cubic inch restrictions, it certainly bodes well for the Coyote that can turn more RPM.
